Description
This course is a hands-on introduction to Computer Scienceconcepts using the design and development of electronic gamesas the primary application. Students will be introduced to gameenvironments, architectures and design issues. The course willsurvey related Computer Science concepts in hardware, software,graphics, human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence. Thesoftware component will include high-level programming engines,and introduce both imperative and object-oriented programming.The course will use high-level drag-and-drop programming enginesand game scripting languages that can be used to create animationsand computer games. Co-requisites: MTH 138 or higher and thecompletion of all developmental basic skills.
