Description
This course covers all areas of biology with particular focus on hands on activities. The topics includes an introduction to the fundamental principles of life processes of organisms and viruses including chemical foundation of their cells; cellular structures, functions, metabolism and divisions.  Introduction to genetics and DNA science and technology, ecology, evolution as well as biodiversity. The laboratory component of the course will reinforce the biological principles hands on experiments at a level appropriate for elementary teaching.
