This course provides students the skills for further refinement in theassessment of the health status of individual adults in the context ofthe family for early case finding, referral and follow-up skills. Drawingon the conceptual framework of growth and development, thenursing process is utilized in the collection and recording of relevantdata, especially health history and complete physical assessmentto identify normal and deviations from wellness in the adult client.Guided college laboratory experience provides opportunity forpractice and refinement in the necessary hands-on skills andtechniques. Pre-requisite: NUR 304/Co-requisite: NUR 316
