The focus of this course will be on care of adult clients withcommonly occurring health problems. The course continues tobuild on the concepts and principles presented in Fundamentals ofNursing Practice. Emphasis is continued on pharmacology, drugcalculation, and medication administration. There will be a recurrentfocus on the application of the nursing process and the ongoingdevelopment of competencies in providing care for individuals andfamilies. Pre-requisite: NUR 130, BIO, 252, BIOL 252, ENGL 150/Pre/Co-requisites: BIO 261, BIOL 261, NUR 131 /Co-requisite: NUR132, NURL 132
