Description

This course explores the efficacy of global public policy. It providesthe students an opportunity to examine the emergence of anetwork of public, private, nongovernmental, national, regional,and international organizations that seek to provide an alternativeframework for the behavior of states, businesses, nongovernmentaland intergovernmental organizations throughout our world.The course will consider the origin and nature of current globaltransformation and its implication for public policy at the nationallevel. The course will analyze economic globalization and examinethe ramifications for national public policy as well as its impact on thefuture of sovereignty. Pre-requisite: PA 225
