Electronics Lab

Description

This course is an introduction to analog and digital electronics forstudents of the natural sciences with emphasis on modern electronicinstrumentation. Experiments include use of function generators,power supplies, operational amplifiers, transducers, programmableanalog switching, solid state amplifiers and switches, logic gates,flip-flops, latches, registers, counters, digital devices and signals,introduction to microcomputers, interfacing, microprocessors, andsignal processing and noise reduction techniques. Pre-requisite:PHY 212/Pre/Co-requisite: PHY 309
