This course will explore how our senses tell us about, and limit our knowledge of the world. While the course will focus on the psychology of seeing and hearing, it will also include discussions of smell, taste, and touch. Other topics will include space and motion perception, illusions, extrasensory perception and the influence of emotions, motivation, past experiences, age and culture on perception.
