Description
This course is designed to familiarize students with the disease,culture, and behaviors related to the HIV virus and AIDS. The coursewill also examine HIV transmission and prevention; including the howeven small amounts of AOD reduces inhibitions, impairs judgmentand increases the risk of potentially life-threatening behaviors. Alsoaddressed with be the impact of HIV-AIDS on different populationsgroups (e.g., racial/ethnic groups, men and women, LGBTand the elderly). Pre-requisites: SW 301 and SW 302 and SW 337
