Description
This course integrates the knowledge, values, and skills developedthroughout the social work curricula. Students engage in structured,individualized learning opportunities in a community agency setting.Faculty, agency field instructors, and students collaborate to facilitatethe transition from classroom to generalist social work practice.During the semester, students will complete 15 hours per week for aminimum of 200 hours in an agency setting approved by the MedgarEvers College Social Work field coordinator. The seminar will serveas an opportunity to integrate knowledge, skills, and theory with thepractical field experience. Pre-requisites: SW 323 and SW 327 andSW 403
