This workshop is designed to assist incoming freshmen students withthe adjustment to a new academic environment and to inform themabout the resources available to assist them in achieving academicand personal success. The general focus of the course will be onacademic requirements, available college resources and services,self-development, goal clarification, and active engagement withlearning. To facilitate this, the methods of instruction will includeclass discussions, group activities, field trips, presentations, guestspeakers, and films.
